About Secret Santa Generator

Secret Santa Generator is a small, independent website that helps families, friends and coworkers draw names for gift exchanges. It started from a simple frustration: most Secret Santa tools make you create an account and collect everyone’s email address before you can even draw a name.

We wanted something that takes about a minute. You type the names, press one button and share private links in the group chat you already use. Nobody signs up, and nobody’s details are stored on our servers.

How it works

The draw runs entirely in your browser. Each person’s match is placed inside their private link, after the # symbol, and browsers never send that part of a link to a website’s server. That means we don’t receive, see or keep your participants’ names or matches.

What’s free

Everything. Drawing names, exclusions, budgets, private links, printable slips and the White Elephant game are free to use for groups of any size. The site is supported by advertising.
